Slotted Body Rivet Nuts
Sherex® by PEM® slotted body rivet nuts are engineered for installation in thin, soft, or deformable sheet materials where standard round body designs may not achieve adequate grip or pull-out resistance. The slotted body geometry creates a distinctive folded bulge pattern during installation, maximising the contact area with the host material and delivering superior retention performance.
Slotted body rivet nuts are particularly effective in plastics, aluminium, and other lightweight materials commonly used in automotive and electronics manufacturing.
CPB and CPN style rivet nuts are oftentimes installed with spin-spin tooling.
