PEM® Ball Lock Pin Fastening Capability
The PEM® Ball Lock Pin, engineered to order, is a tool-free fastener for daughter-board-to-motherboard stack-ups in servers and communications equipment. A spring-loaded ball detent locks and releases by hand in seconds, so boards can be serviced repeatedly without tools and without damaging board material. Fewer components than a comparable screw-and-standoff assembly reduces both part count and installed cost.
