OPT – Round Body, Knurled, Wedges (Open and Closed End)
Optisert® is one Sherex by PEM's best performing rivet nuts in its catalog. Its unique combination of underhead wedges and aggressive knurling helps to grip into the base material to prevent it from spinning one installed. In softer materials, like plastics and aluminum, the performance of Optisert is similar to a full hex body rivet nut. Available in open and closed end, steel and stainless steel, Optisert is used in a variety of applications, including automotive and heavy truck industries.
