RIV-FLOAT® RFL - Large Flange Floating Thread Rivet Nut
The RFL is the standard large flange variant within the Sherex® by PEM® RIV-FLOAT® floating rivet nut family. It's a patented rivet nut with with an internally floating threaded insert that moves radially to compensate for through-bolt misalignment between mating components. The open-end design accommodates through-fastener configurations and extended thread engagement depths.
RIV-FLOAT helps accommodate for tolerance stack-up issues and can help to eliminate cross-threading during assembly.
